Project Engineer

Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking to fill an opening for the Project Engineer.  This position will report to the Engineering Manager.  This position is responsible for designing, testing, and documenting suspensions for the heavy-duty powered vehicle and trailer markets using SolidWorks and associated software in the design of suspension products, setting up and supervising tests, working with suppliers, manufacturing, and customers to assure designs meet reliability, manufacturability, performance and cost constraints.  May also supervise field installations of prototype suspensions, oversee testing at customer sites, and provide customer support as needed.

Responsibilities include design of suspension systems, sub-systems, and components using SolidWorks and associated software; working with team to develop innovative solutions to meet customer requirements; designing, testing, and supervising a project to completion; ensuring projects are completed on time; providing installation and maintenance manual input and review; assisting with new product installations; other duties as assigned by manager; adhering to Reyco Granning policies and work rules.  Qualifications include excellent written and verbal communication skills; good computer skills: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, PDF Editor, SolidWorks, PDM, and MRP Systems.  Must be familiar with DFMEA, DVP, and APQP Processes.  Must possess the ability to work on multiple projects at one time, the ability to work efficiently in a team setting, a strong bias for quality, a strong bias for action, strong leadership skills, and excellent problem-solving skills.  Must be attentive to details.  Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related with automotive / suspension emphasis preferred.

MIS IT Intern

Reyco Granning is currently seeking a MIS / IT Intern to be based in Mt. Vernon, MO.  This position will report to the MIS System Administrator.  Reyco Granning’s Information Technology department is a small and dedicated team of professionals who work very closely with all departments in our organization. The Information Technology intern will assist IT department staff in technical support duties, as well as implementing open-source solutions, tracking hardware and software inventory, assisting IT and other departments with reports, and training Reyco Granning staff on new and existing software.  Projects may include, but will not be limited to:  assisting in troubleshooting issues; monitoring backup systems; helping with upgrading network equipment; assisting in organizing and maintaining IT resources, in setting up and preparing work stations, with entry level help desk functions and in report writing.  Qualifications include strong analytical skills; reasoning and problem-solving ability and proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office.  Knowledge of networks, servers and other programs beneficial.  Education Requirements include IT classes at the college level; working towards a degree closely related to computer science, information technology or information systems.

OEM Account Manager

Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking to fill an opening for an OEM Account Manager.  This position will report to the Director of Sales and will be assigned to and based near the Denton TX, Portland OR, or Seattle WA area.  This position is required to be on site at the customer a minimum of once per month; will maintain Sales Plan and GM goals for both customer OEM and Aftermarket Sales; establish and maintain relationships with customer dealer network; participate in Customer Marketing efforts, tradeshows and product training sessions; serve as the liaison between the customer and Reyco Granning;  foster a strong customer relationship, and serve as the customer advocate; provide advice and recommendations based on knowledge of Reyco Granning products and processes; collaborate with all functional areas of Reyco Granning to drive execution; participate in all meetings between Reyco Granning and the customer.

Responsibilities include managing pricing, tariffs, quotes, and program timing to customer Commodity Manager; providing weekly and daily status updates; maintaining effective and efficient communication between the customer and Reyco Granning; providing customer with continued support related to commercial issues, quality issues, delivery of product, manufacturing concerns, warranty concerns; provide customer forecast reports monthly to Reyco Granning materials group; providing deviations to the customer as needed per Reyco Granning quality system; maintaining and developing positive working relationships with customer’s engineering, materials, planning, quality, customer service, warranty/service and manufacturing groups; tracking and communicating all service and manufacturing issues, assisting with root cause analysis, and driving resolution and closure; proactively communicating any supplier based challenges to the appropriate Reyco Granning team.

Requirements include 5 plus years of experience in a customer facing, sales role or related field; strong personal interaction and presentation skills; excellent organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent computer skills: MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.  Must provide own transportation for travel within territory.   The successful candidate must be self-motivated, driven with the ability to analyze data; results oriented; demonstrated problem solving skills with attention to detail; adaptability, with demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at one time.  Must possess strong leadership skills and have the ability to work well alone and with others; must have a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with customer top level management and partner with them to understand their business challenges.

CNC Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking to fill an opening for a CNC Manufacturing Engineering Technician for its Mt. Vernon production facility.  This position will report to the Manufacturing Engineer responsible for CNC Machining. This position will be responsible for supporting the CNC/Machining across the plant. This position will be able to write new programs for Mazak & Niigata CNC machines. This position will be able to setup CNC machines and work on reducing setup time. This position will lead the training of the CNC machine operators to perform their tasks per standard work. This position will develop standard work and work instructions for all CNC machines. This position will utilize Practical problem-solving approach, Kaizen methodology & DMAIC methodologies to identify and eliminate waste and variation from all assigned processes. This position will insure CNC processes are improved to achieve improved safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

Responsibilities include working with technical staff to Identify process improvements with focus on Safety/Quality/Delivery/Cost; supporting activities and projects to improve the safety of processes and stations; troubleshooting programming and/or setup issues; developing work instructions for assigned processes; providing standard training for operators in assigned processes; insure new (CNC & Machining) operators are trained per work instructions and best practices; utilize Lean & Six Sigma approaches to address process issues in machining area; evaluating all aspects of the weld processes and improve weld utilization; evaluating and improving manufacturing methods; working with manufacturing engineering & manufacturing management on projects as assigned; assisting other operators to improve their respective work areas; verification of set ups and confirm parts to print; working with (CNC & Machining) operators, engineering & maintenance staff to address all process performance issues; supporting 5S efforts across assigned departments; supporting development and implementation of the TPM process across all workstations

MIS Systems Analyst

Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking to fill an opening for a MIS Systems Analyst for its Mt. Vernon production facility.  This position will report to the MIS System Administrator and is responsible for the development, maintenance and user support of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) reporting.  This position is to provide internal consulting and real world experience and expertise in the field of ERP processes and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), maintain and update local website, analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations, provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, operating systems and hardware.  This position requires effective interaction at all levels to determine business needs and solutions along with the ability to proactively communicate issues and solutions and to manage time effectively is critical.  Must possess a sound knowledge of the process flow throughout all aspects of business, to include but not limited to:  Finance, Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Chain.  Assist System Administrator as required.

Essential duties include Electronic Data Interchange and development to include mapping transactions; develop / redesign reports using Crystal Report and Microsoft Reporting services; develop queries of the Microsoft SQL; document business process flows and needs and develop ERP solutions as needed; provide connectivity within the ERP system to reflect business needs within all modules including GL, AR AP, Forecasting, Master Scheduling, Planning, Customer Order Entry, Shipping, Receiving, Purchasing, Materials Management, and Operations.  Provides technical assistance to users including creating ad-hoc reports, performing data analysis and correction, training and problem solving.  Maintenance of Computer and Peripheral equipment; experience with Windows desktop and server operating systems; experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting Windows based workstations.  Must possess general knowledge of network communications including: 802.11, TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS.  Requirements include experience with local website administration and with User Support/Help Desk environment; proficiency in use and installation of Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of structured programming techniques, networking and database methodologies preferred; advanced skills and experience in oral and written communication including analysis, preparation and report presentation; the ability to communicate, motivate, and organize projects among a broad spectrum of company personnel.  Must possess knowledge of personal computers and PC applications and development software desired; the ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information with integrity; thorough knowledge and practical application of financial and accounting principles and procedures; demonstrated experience of ERP implementation, maintenance and support.

Shipping Coordinator

Reyco Granning is currently seeking to fill an opening for a Shipping Coordinator at its Mt. Vernon production facility. This position will be responsible for creating shipping documents including export paperwork, checking all shipments prior to loading to verify all items have been accurately prepared to fill each customer order; setting up trucks to pick up shipments; send ASN to customers who require ASN notification of shipments. Responsibilities include finding shipping service providers and tracking orders to ensure service requirements are met; completing daily route packets for drivers and communicate necessary information and special instructions; completing appropriate Bill of Lading for all customer orders where customer does not provide; answering phones, providing top-notch customer service, and scheduling shipments for all customer orders; assisting with other projects as needed.

This position requires experience brokering freight and working with carriers; strong negotiation skills; Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities as well as ability to interface with all levels of the organization.  Must be process-oriented and have strong organizational skills.  Previous logistics experience preferred but not required.  Experience with Fourth Shift a plus.  Should be comfortable with using Excel, Word and Outlook. This position is responsible for operating paint lines. Must be mechanically inclined and able to use hand tools. Paint parts as necessary to meet production standards. Must be able to use basic inspection equipment such as calipers, mics, torque wrenches, and various gauges and other tools. Perform source inspection as established. Perform daily TPM. Uses stop the line authority at any sign of safety or quality concerns. Performs daily duties per work instructions/standard work. Completes all daily data collection as established. Must perform daily 5S activities, use LEAN efforts, and work as a team. Must be able to read blueprints. Must have good understanding of inventory control. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. Must have or be able to obtain a fork truck license. Must recognize the importance of working in a safe manner. Supplier Quality Engineer Technician

Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Engineering Technician for its Mt. Vernon production facility.  This position will report to the Supplier Quality Engineer.  This position is to participate in activities related to the development, application of and improvement of supplier furnished products that are used in Reyco Granning suspension products; utilize AQL inspection sampling plans when Reyco Granning’s MRP dictates product inspection; supports development of supplier inspection procedures, plans, related inspection work instructions, forms that may be needed for the recording, analysis and disposition of supplier furnished product(s), etc.; supports methods and procedures relating to disposition of discrepant material and assists in devising/completing containment activities ensuring suspect supplier parts are not used in Reyco Granning products.  Supports and assists in a team approach methodology to Problem Process Solving (PPS) activities in the plant when requested; supports manufacturing quality technician(s) as needed.

Responsibilities include following Reyco Granning policies and procedures to insure quality standards are met; supporting the Supplier Quality Engineers’ efforts; working with internal stakeholders to address and resolve product/process issues as they relate to supplier products; participating in a team approach to root cause analysis efforts with the goal instituting sound corrective actions that eliminate the issue; verification that product received/inspected complies with applicable Reyco Granning specifications and requirements; ensuring quality and LEAN improvements are supported and 5S is an integral part of the supplier quality technicians’ everyday tasks; providing sorting assistance when suspect supplier product is found.  Must have the capability of accurately inspecting parts using standard quality measurement tools (such as, but not limited to calipers, micrometers, height gages, thread gages, machinist square and measurement arm system (FARO) and be willing to adapt and train on new technologies, including measurement and gaging systems.

Requirements include proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs; familiarity with/ability to use CMM or measurement arm systems; the ability to perform detailed part inspections; the ability to read and interpret blueprints correctly; must possess math skills; knowledge of GD and T; familiarity with APQ sampling plans and MRP software; exposure to ISO 9000, PPAP / ISIR requirements; a working knowledge of Process Problem Solving (PPS).  A background in medium/heavy industrial applications and processes, exposure to statistical problem-solving approach (SPC, CPK, PPK, trend analysis, etc.), exposure to LEAN Manufacturing and continuous improvement is desirable.

Accounting Clerk

Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk for its Mt. Vernon production facility.  This position is non-exempt, part time, 20–24 hours per week and will report to the Senior Accountant.  This position is to provide relevant support to the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions with the Finance Department as required. Essential duties and responsibilities include scanning all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable packets daily; accurately filing all scanned documents; matching packing slips and purchase orders with AP invoices daily; copying checks in AP as needed; accurately maintaining the AP files keeping AP packets as completed; making copies of Fixed asset documents and filing them; pulling and filing records as needed by Finance Staff and auditors; assisting VP of Finance and Senior Accountant with additional duties as assigned.

Requirements include typing and ten-key by touch; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; above average verbal and written communication skills.  Must have worked in an accounting environment for a minimum of 1–2 years and be proficient with accounting software. Senior Project Engineer

Reyco Granning is currently seeking to fill an opening for a Sr. Project Engineer to be based in either Mt. Vernon, MO, or Lafayette, IN.  This position will report to the Engineering Manager.  This position is responsible for designing, testing and documenting suspensions for medium and heavy-duty powered vehicles. This position will use SolidWorks 3D CAD, Altair FEA and Simulation for the design of product and is responsible for the set up and supervision of testing. This position will work with suppliers, the manufacturing team, sales team and customers to ensure the design meets functional, reliability, manufacturability and cost requirements. This person must be able to function within a program team, matrix managed environment and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.  May also be responsible for field installations of prototypes and oversee testing at customer sites, providing customer support as necessary.

Responsibilities include the design of vehicle suspension systems or sub-systems.  Will collaboratively work to develop innovative solutions in response to customer requirements; design product tests and supervise through completion; authors / provide input to / review installation and maintenance manuals; ensure that projects are completed on time.  Will perform duties according to Reyco Granning LLC policies and procedures; other projects or duties as assigned.  Hands-on work involved with testing and installations.

Must be self-motivated, driven with the ability to analyze data; result oriented with solid technical background.  Must possess strong communication skills; demonstrated problem solving skills with attention to detail; adaptability, with demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at one time; good computer skills: MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, 3D CAD (SolidWorks),FEA and Simulation;  the ability to work well alone and with others, with strong leadership skills; adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment.

Press Line Operator 2nd Shift 3p-11p

This position requires setting up stamping presses, different dies and shears to produce a variety of parts according to blueprint specifications while meeting the production standard.  Must be mechanically inclined and able to use hand tools, possess basic math skills, and read blueprints.  Must be able to use basic inspection equipment such as calipers, mics, torque wrenches and various gauges, and other tools.  Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.  Perform source inspection using traveling check sheet and perform daily TPM and daily duties per work instructions/standard work.  Use stop line authority at any sign of safety or quality concerns; complete daily data collection, and perform 5S activities.  Must have good understanding of inventory control and what constitutes quality products, and recognize the importance of working in a safe manner.  Must be computer literate.  Must possess average or above average skills in numeric and visual recall.  Must be able to obtain forktruck license.  This position requires a high school diploma or GED.  Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in extreme temperatures and to stand for long periods of time.  Must have excellent work history and provide work references.  Stamping experience is preferred.
