MIS IT Intern

Reyco Granning is currently seeking a MIS / IT Intern to be based in Mt. Vernon, MO.  This position will report to the MIS System Administrator.  Reyco Granning’s Information Technology department is a small and dedicated team of professionals who work very closely with all departments in our organization. The Information Technology intern will assist IT department staff in technical support duties, as well as implementing open-source solutions, tracking hardware and software inventory, assisting IT and other departments with reports, and training Reyco Granning staff on new and existing software.

Projects may include, but will not be limited to:  assisting in troubleshooting issues; monitoring backup systems; helping with upgrading network equipment; assisting in organizing and maintaining IT resources, in setting up and preparing work stations, with entry level help desk functions and in report writing.  Qualifications include strong analytical skills; reasoning and problem-solving ability and proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office.  Knowledge of networks, servers and other programs beneficial.  Education requirements include IT classes at the college level; working towards a degree closely related to computer science, information technology or information systems.

IT experience in the following areas are considered a plus:  experience with an MRP system; troubleshooting and repair of desktop systems; Microsoft SQL report design and development; PHP programming language and Apache server operations. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Manager of Customer Service

Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking a Manager of Customer Service for its Mt. Vernon production facility.  This position will report to the VP of Sales.  This position is the leader and point person for day-to-day operations of the Customer Experience Department and is to support direct and indirect customers with suspension & parts solutions, including identifying appropriate product(s) to fit needs; provide product quotes and availability; receive, process and confirm orders.

Responsibilities include managing all Customer Service Specialists: hire, fire, set goals, train, coach, mentor, and evaluate; support outside sales teams as needed with quotes, order status, customer account status, etc.; support outside sales teams with efforts towards achieving company sales and profit growth targets,  including lead generation and lead sharing; serve as a customer advocate and problem solver on behalf of customers; follow customer issues from start to resolution including communicating to customer as appropriate; tie necessary functional areas together to address any customer issues; responsible for product pricing; provide direct and indirect customers with service part numbers and availability; evaluate and issue Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s) per company policy; issue other miscellaneous customer credits and debits in conjunction with outside sales as required to effectively serve customers in accordance with company policy; maintain customer files including: customer acknowledgements, invoices, shipping paperwork, RMA’s, etc.; engage with customers or potential customers to understand product needs and wants.  Must be able to negotiate product, price and solution details balancing customer wants with company strategic objectives.

Associates’ or Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related area preferred, or equivalent work experience.  Experience requirements include 4+ years’ experience within a customer service environment; 1+ year of supervision experience preferred; demonstrates interpersonal and team social skills.  Physical demands include the ability to verbally communicate in articulate and enunciated manner; the ability to sit for prolonged periods of time while performing repetitive clerical tasks such as typing and filing; occasional, infrequent travel via air plane and/or automobile; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MRP systems.

Manufacturing Engineer

Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its Mt. Vernon production facility.  This position is responsible for providing Technical & Engineering support for all Reyco Granning manufacturing value streams. This position drives improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost by utilizing continuous improvement, project management, problem solving, and working with internal and external resources.

This position requires a BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Management, Mechanical Engineering or similar technical degrees will be considered.  Necessary experience includes AutoCAD SolidWorks or equivalent applications, demonstrated Lean/CI hands-on experiences, demonstrated Six Sigma / DMAIC problem solving experiences, demonstrated project/program management experiences.  Must be a technical problem solver who enjoys working with or training others; must possess mechanical and machining expertise with a demonstrated history of success.  Must have CNC programming and all other aspects of CNC machine utilization, prototype and new program support experience.

Physical demands include the ability to stand / walk in excess of 8 hours per day and the ability to work in plant temperatures of 65 – 105 degrees.

Regional Sales Manager – Western

Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking to fill an opening for the Regional Sales Manager – Western.  This position will report to the Director of Sales.  This position is to achieve Profitable sales, objectives by growing current customer sales volume, winning new customers, and providing data and marketplace feedback in the Suspension, and LD, MD, HD on highway and off highway marketplace.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience; minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales/customer service required; proven track record for meeting and exceeding company sales goals; working knowledge of account management solutions preferred; Bi-lingual is a plus. This position requires the ability to operate a telephone, computer, calculator, copier, fax machine, scanner and any other office equipment.  Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Must be able to travel, sit, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.

Travel via car and airplane required; must live near an airport; approximately 75-80% travel per month; minimum 15 days per month, must provide own transportation for travel within territory.  This position will service AZ, CA, ID, NV, OR, UT, WA, AK, and HI.  This position is generally located in an office environment but will require employee to engage in activities within a warehouse or manufacturing environment for limited periods of time.

OEM Account Manager Fire Apparatus

Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking to fill an opening for an OEM Account Manager/ Fire Apparatus.  This position will report to the VP of Sales and will be assigned to and based in the Lansing, Michigan area.  This position will maintain sales plan and GM goals for both customer OEM and Aftermarket Sales, establish and maintain relationships with customer dealer network, participate in Customer Marketing efforts, tradeshows and product training sessions, and serve as the liaison between the customer and Reyco Granning.

Responsibilities include fostering a strong customer relationship and serving as the customer advocate; providing advice and recommendations based on knowledge of Reyco Granning products and processes; collaborating with all functional areas of Reyco Granning to drive execution; participating in all meetings between Reyco Granning and the customer; manage pricing, quotes, and program timing to customer; providing weekly and daily status updates; maintaining effective and efficient communication between the customer and Reyco Granning; providing customer with continued support related to commercial issues, quality issues, delivery of product, manufacturing concerns, warranty concerns; providing customer forecast reports not less than monthly to Reyco Granning materials group; providing deviations to the customer as needed per Reyco Granning quality system; maintaining and developing positive working relationships with customer’s engineering, materials, planning, quality, customer service, warranty/service and manufacturing groups; tracking and communicating all service and manufacturing issues, assisting with root cause analysis and driving resolution and closure; proactively communicating any supplier based challenges to the appropriate Reyco Granning team.

Requirements include 5 plus years of experience in a customer facing, sales role or related field; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.  Must have a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with customer top level management and partner with them to understand their business challenges.  Must possess excellent computer skills: MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.   The successful candidate must possess strong personal interaction and presentation skills, along with strong leadership skills; excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills, self-motivated, driven with the ability to analyze data; demonstrated problem solving skills with attention to detail; adaptability, with demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at one time; ability to work well alone and with others.  Must be results oriented.
