Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking to fill an opening for the Controller. This position will report to the President. The Controller is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the company in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board and other regulatory and advisory organizations in accordance with financial management techniques and practices appropriate within the manufacturing industry.
This position performs cash management, including review of P/R, A/P and A/R function and projects cash activity for R G cash management system to contain borrowing within budget guidelines; prepares and analyzes monthly and annual financial data, including coordination and review of annual external audit and physical inventory to ensure timely reporting; compares data to budget, as well as developing future projections to identify potential problems or aberrations from budget, plan to forecast; manages general accounting responsibilities, including standard cost development and review, inventory valuation, capital investment, and development cost and/or recovery to provide estimate of actual program or product costs; coordinates establishment of budget and business plan with managers to identify sales levels, material standards, variable operating costs, and investments; provides monthly performance variance from budget reports to managers to allow management action planning; enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company; responds to inquiries from RG Management, external auditors, bank, customers, suppliers, etc., requesting financial information to ensure compliance with RG policies, including preparation and review of additional documents for potential Due Diligence work; reviews activity of working capital investment, such as inventory turns, capital requests, and new program tooling recovery to ensure sub-systems properly collect data reported to the general ledger; staff, develop and motivate departmental staff to provide the needed technical support that will contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts and opportunities to eliminate waste; review, monitor and adjust employee benefit plans (401k, healthcare, etc.) to remain current on benefit issues and assure financing is within guidelines of budget and business plan; monitors and reviews information relating to compilation of data and coordination of tax payments; review and coordinate the Human Resource department’s recommendations for salary administration; be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the Company may enter to protect the assets of the company; performs additional duties as may be required by management from time to time.
Qualification requirements include seasoned cost accounting experience, including 5 years of management experience; basic understanding of the various treasury functions relating to acquisition of funds and cash management and thorough understanding of audit controls; CPA preferred. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field; Advance Degree a plus. Must have ten years of experience in financial analysis, including knowledge of balance sheet and income statement relationship allowing immediate analysis of reserves and account activity; experience with various employee benefit programs, including payroll, unemployment, health insurance, 401K plans and workers’ compensation; experience in a manufacturing environment.

Reyco Granning, LLC has an opening for a Quality Engineer in its Mt. Vernon, Missouri production facility. This position will report to the VP of Manufacturing.
The Quality Engineer will drive activities concerned with development, application, maintenance & improvement of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products. Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation. Devise sampling procedures and design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data. Establish programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment. Develop and implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devise methods to assess cost and solve root cause. Lead root cause analysis to address external & internal quality related problems. Support team members engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability. Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality assurance activities. Provide leadership in transforming quality management system across Reyco Granning.
This position requires a BS degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. Experience requirements include ISO 9000 / PPAP requirements, prior experience in process improvement, error proofing, DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, process flow diagrams, and lean manufacturing. Must have a strong statistical background. Strong Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement, strong ISO and/or other quality management systems and Six Sigma Black belt are preferred.
Physical demands include the ability to stand / walk in excess of eight (8) hours per day, to work in plant temperatures ranging from 65 – 105 degrees, and lifting up to 45 pounds infrequently.

Engineering Intern (2 Openings)
Reyco Granning is currently seeking an Engineering Intern to be based in Mt. Vernon, MO. This position will work under the technical supervision of the Engineering team. Duties will include the design and documentation of suspensions for the powered vehicle, trailer and light vehicle markets using SolidWorks CAD and other CAD Software as needed. Duties may also include modifying/updating existing drawings and documentation to support the customer, manufacturing, purchasing, quality and other department needs.
Additional duties may include creating and updating BOMs, generating Engineering Change Requests (ECR’s) and managing the ECR process. This position may also provide support to the R&D Lab with testing and test fixture design. Any other responsibilities and authorities as directed by the Chief Engineer or his designee.
This position requires junior level college, good written and communication skills, Microsoft Office, 3D modeling using SolidWorks and/or other CAD software, attention to detail, and the ability to work alone or in a team setting. Good attendance is expected.
Physical demands include the ability to lift 50 lbs. Needs to be hands on and assist in tests set up or prototype installations.

Manufacturing Engineer Intern
Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern for its Mt. Vernon production facility. This position will be responsible for supporting Manufacturing/Quality Engineers and management to improve overall Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost performance of Reyco Granning manufacturing and quality processes. This position will utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and problem Solving tools and approaches to continuously improve overall operations. Utilizes Kaizen & DMAIC methodologies to identify and eliminate waste and variation from all fabrication, welding, paint and assembly processes. Analyzes steps of manufacturing to remove waste and variation to achieve improved safety, quality, delivery and cost performance.
This position requires knowledge of SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD, time study standards application, Lean Manufacturing Principle applications, DMAIC Methodology familiarity, and Excel spreadsheet applications. The applicant must be currently enrolled in an engineering degree program or have equivalent manufacturing or computer programming experience. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time in sometimes extreme temperatures and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
