Reyco Granning increases manufacturing capacity with the release of the DM400e slider suspension.
Mt. Vernon, MO – Reyco Granning has released the DM400e Slider Suspension into the trailer market. This enhanced version of their classic DM400 slider suspension is now in production and the company has already found the need to hire more workers to keep up with the demand.
According to Bill LaGue, Director of Trailer Sales, this new model was needed to keep up with the competitive market and the demand for better ROI from our customers. “The engineers at Reyco took a great product and made it even better. For the end customer this enhanced design keeps the notable 33% stronger & increased durability vs. a conventional design while lightening the weight by 67 lbs. from the original DM400. The DM400e allows the fleet to increase their pay load capacity, keep the trailer on the road and out of the shop which in turn increases their profits. Another part of the enhancement will provide the OEMs increased efficiency during the installation process which includes shipping, transporting & air line plumbing.”.
The DM400e has already taken off with success in the market with large orders placed by some key customers. “Our customers have been asking us for a better price, but with the durability they expect from Reyco and now that we have delivered that price, the response has been phenomenal.” said Brien Scheffee, VP of Sales and Marketing.
Other standard features include Reyco Granning’s patented Rey-Align alignment system, plumbing guide improvements, TensionRight washers for the pivot bolt and a standard Air Pin Release system. A variety of optional features are also available, including galvanized subframe, disc brakes, load block [anti-dock walk], auto front axle lift, manual or auto dump and tire inflation system prep.
The DM400e is also covered by an industry-leading full 7 year parts and labor warranty.

The new design is more durable than a conventional design, according to Reyco Granning, while lightening the weight by 67 lbs. from the original DM400. The DM400e also allows the fleet to increase their payload capacity.
Standard features include Reyco Granning’s Rey-Align alignment system, plumbing guide improvements, TensionRight washers for the pivot bolt and a standard Air Pin Release system. A variety of optional features are also available, including galvanized subframe, disc brakes, load block, auto front axle lift, manual or auto dump and tire inflation system prep.
The DM400e is also covered by a full seven-year parts and labor warranty.
Christy Meirick named new Director of Aftermarket
Mt Vernon, MO – Reyco Granning didn’t have to look too far to find its new Director of Aftermarket Sales. Christy Meirick will succeed the previous Director, Steve Denny, who has retired after many successful years with the company.
Meirick is well versed with Reyco Granning as a company from her 14 years as a dedicated employee. Meirick has worked in various departments with Reyco Granning and brings experience in the manufacturing and shipping fields, as well as her most recent position as the Aftermarket and Trailer Customer Service representative. Many Reyco Granning customers will already be familiar with Meirick and this should help in a smooth transition within the company.
