Regional Sales Manager – Central

Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking to fill an opening for the Regional Sales Manager – Central.  This position will report to the Director of Sales and Business Development and is to achieve profitable sales objectives by growing current customer sales volume, winning new customers, and providing technical data and marketplace feedback in the commercial vehicle suspension marketplace for both powered vehicles and trailers.

Responsibilities include adhering to and demonstrates the company’s core values on a daily basis; identifying and pursuing technical sales opportunities; growing and maintaining customer base to meet or exceed individual and team sales goals (cultivates and maintains long term), professional relationships with customers with the intent to grow sales and help the customer achieve their growth objectives; maintaining the company’s product competitiveness; providing ongoing technical sales support for customers; processing customer requests and orders; maintaining a focused travel schedule to win new business opportunities; attending and participating in trade shows to effectively and appropriately represent Reyco Granning and its products.  This position is to utilize consultative system solution selling methods and coordinate with the appropriate departments to quickly resolve customer issues/concerns; assist customers with general requests, needs, account maintenance, and training; work with dealers to provide them with support and training where needed to sell suspension products.   Must complete and submit daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports in a timely manner, conduct cold calls in a targeted sales effort and carry out all other duties as assigned.

Must possess the following:  the ability to achieve sales and profitability objectives along with the ability to work well with others toward a shared goal while meeting customer needs; excellent interpersonal skills; ability and willingness to work as an individual contributor and as part of a high-performance team; ability to quickly and effectively resolve problems; the proven ability to sell and upsell, effectively manage your time, prioritize work as necessary, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment; proven mechanical and/or technical ability to understand commercial vehicle suspension systems.  Must be an articulate communicator (both verbal & written i.e. email, word, etc.) and be able to demonstrate a sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, Marketing, or equivalent industry experience.  Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales/customer service preferred or Mechanical Engineering degree in lieu of sales experience.  Must possess a proven track record for meeting and exceeding company sales goals.  Working knowledge of account management solutions preferred.  This position requires the ability to operate a telephone, computer, calculator, copier, fax machine, scanner, and any other office equipment.  Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be able to travel, sit, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.  This position is generally located in an office environment but will require employee to engage in activities within a warehouse or manufacturing environment for limited periods of time.

Supplier Quality Engineering Technician

Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Engineering Technician for its Mt. Vernon production facility.  This position will report to the Supplier Quality Engineer.  This position will be responsible for participating in activities related to the development, application of and improvement of supplier furnished products that are used in Reyco Granning suspension products.

Responsibilities include utilizing AQL inspection sampling plans when Reyco Granning’s MRP dictates product inspection and supporting the development of supplier inspection procedures, plans, related inspection work instructions, forms that may be needed for the recording, analysis, and disposition of supplier furnished product(s), etc.  This position is to support methods and procedures relating to the disposition of discrepant material and assists in devising/completing containment activities ensuring suspect supplier parts are not used in Reyco Granning products; supports and assists in a team approach methodology to Problem Process Solving (PPS) activities in the plant when requested; supports manufacturing quality technician(s) as needed.  This position is to follow Reyco Granning’s policies and procedures to ensure quality standards are met; support the Supplier Quality Engineers’ efforts; working with internal stakeholders to address and resolve product/process issues as they relate to supplier products; participates in a team approach to root cause analysis efforts with the goal instituting sound corrective actions that eliminate the issue; verification that product received/inspected complies with applicable Reyco Granning specifications and requirements.  Ensuring quality and LEAN improvements are supported and 5S is an integral part of the supplier quality technicians’ everyday tasks.  This position is to provide sorting assistance when a suspect supplier product is found.

Requirements include the ability to perform detailed part inspections and to read and interpret blueprints correctly.  Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programs; familiar with/able to use CMM or measurement arm systems, APQ sampling plans, MRP software.  A background in medium/heavy industrial applications and processes are a plus.  Must possess math skills and a working knowledge of Process Problem Solving (PPS).  Must be capable of accurately inspecting parts using standard quality measurement tools such as, but not limited to calipers, micrometers, height gages, thread gages, machinist square, and measurement arm system (Hexagon) and willing to adapt and train on new technologies; including measurement and gaging systems.  Exposure to ISO 9000, PPAP / ISIR requirements, statistical problem-solving approach (SPC, CPK, PPK, trend analysis), LEAN Manufacturing, and continuous improvement is a plus.  High School diploma or GED required.  Associates degree preferred or equivalent work-related experience considered.

Project Engineer

Reyco Granning LLC has an opening for a Project Engineer for its Mt. Vernon production facility.  This position will report to the Engineering Manager.  This position is responsible for designing, testing, and documenting suspensions for the heavy-duty powered vehicle and trailer markets.  Uses SolidWorks and associated software in the design of suspension, steering, and driveline products, will set up and supervise tests, and work with suppliers, manufacturing, and customers to assure designs meet reliability, manufacturability, performance, and cost constraints.  May also supervise field installations of prototype suspensions, oversee testing at customer sites, and provide customer support as needed.

Responsibilities include designing of suspension/steering/driveline systems, sub-systems, and components; using SolidWorks and associated software to design; working with the team to develop innovative solutions to meet customer requirements; designing, testing, and supervising projects to completion; ensuring projects are completed on time; providing installation and maintenance manual input and review; adhering to Reyco Granning policies and work rules.  This position is responsible for assisting with new product installations and other duties as assigned by the manager. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; good computer skills: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, PDF Editor, Computer-Aided Design software experience.  Must have the ability to work on multiple projects at one time and work efficiently in a team setting and possess excellent problem-solving skills.  Attention to detail and a willingness to take action for the good of the team are essential.

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent required – Automotive emphasis preferred. 3D modeling experience with SolidWorks experience preferred along with knowledge of suspension/drivetrain systems and mechanical ground vehicle design/systems. Sr. Project Engineer (Mt. Vernon, MO or Lafayette, IN)

Reyco Granning is currently seeking to fill an opening for a Sr. Project Engineer to be based in Mt.
