Procurement Specialist

Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist for its Mt. Vernon production facility.  The Procurement Specialist will support the execution of category management, product development, contracting, and supplier management activities across various product categories within the product offering.  This position will report to the VP of Supply Chain.  This position will be responsible for coordinating the procurement of goods including tooling, equipment, and replacement parts in support of the business needs and in the most cost-effective manner possible.  This role has the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals with the development of practical and innovative ways to identify and meet those goals.

 Responsibilities include managing supplier performance through supplier report cards, risk assessments, and vendor due diligence; delivering KPIs in the areas of cost savings, landed cost assessments, and cash flow improvements; reviewing proposals, negotiating and issuing purchase agreements with supply base at best total cost; tracking and reporting measurements such as cost reduction, output and turn-around time; responding to internal requests for expedited quote or delivery to meet customer expectations; establishing strong relationships with key strategic vendors and leverage fact-based negotiation tactics to secure spend under contract; preparing and send RFQ/RFI for commodity/procurement projects as needed.  Will partner with engineering, product management, materials and quality teams to support new product introductions; support special projects or initiatives as required; understanding strategies for assigned programs and proactively drive initiatives to meet sourcing objectives; performing other duties and specific projects as assigned.

High School Diploma required; B.S Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or related experience preferred.  Other requirements include 3-5 years of related experience in purchasing/sourcing in a manufacturing environment; knowledge of MRP and ERP systems; successful supplier and partnership negotiations; experience conducting supplier audits.  Must have analytical, statistical, personal organization, problem-solving skills and possess the ability to organize, prioritize, and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities.  Must possess effective oral and written communication skills.  Must be dependable and have the ability to plan strategically and implement long-term initiatives.  Proficient computer skills a must.  Up to 25% travel may be required, including outside the U.S.

Customer Service Specialist

Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist for its Mt. Vernon production facility.  This position will report to the Customer Service Manager.  This position will be responsible for supporting direct and indirect customers with suspension & parts solutions, including identifying the appropriate product(s) to fit needs; providing price and availability; receiving, processing, and confirming orders; processing RMAs; initiating Rapid Response tickets; submitting Engineering Help tickets; and creating credit/debit memos as necessary. Serve as customer advocates and internal problem solvers on customers’ behalf. Support outside sales teams with efforts towards achieving company sales and growth targets.

Responsibilities include providing product quotes as needed in conjunction with outside sales and product availability to customers; receiving and entering customer orders (internal and external) into computer system; requesting and obtaining a delivery commitment from Scheduling and confirming order delivery with the customer; resolving any discrepancy between customer requested ship date and production’s available to ship date; providing direct and indirect customers with service part numbers, availability and/or Aftermarket Supplier partners as needed; evaluating and issuing Return Material Authorizations per company policy; issuing other miscellaneous customer credits and debits in conjunction with outside sales as required to effectively serve customers in accordance with company policy; maintaining customers’ hard copy files including customer purchase order, customer acknowledgments, pertinent correspondence, invoices, shipping paperwork, RMA documents, credit/debit memos, etc.  Support outside sales teams as needed with order status, customer account status, etc.; follow customer issues from start to resolution including communicating to the customer as appropriate; maintaining positive relationships with internal departments and colleagues.

Requirements include experience with data entry including software knowledge and experience using basic tools such as email, spreadsheets, and word processing programs; proficiency in Microsoft Office, MRP, and CRM experience preferred; must possess the ability to prioritize multiple demands and work interrupted with a high degree of accuracy and follow-through along with the ability to analyze and determine customer needs and enlist help from other departments to determine the best course of action and to resolve and manage customer conflict while maintaining a professional demeanor and utilizing customer care techniques.  Effective communication skills through verbal and written means along with strong organizational skills are required.  Must be able to demonstrate interpersonal and team social skills.  Mechanical aptitude a plus.  Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while performing repetitive clerical tasks such as typing and filing.

Buyer/Planner

Reyco Granning LLC has an opening for a Buyer/ Planner for its Mt. Vernon production facility.  This position will report to the Purchasing Manager and is primarily responsible for coordinating company purchases of required inventory while managing physical and/or digital purchasing records; maintaining accurate records of current and prospective suppliers related documents and their performance; working to remove costs where possible and/or consolidate supplier requirements; may also be required to purchase other goods, supplies, and services.

Sr. Project Engineer (Mt. Vernon, MO or Lafayette, IN)

Reyco Granning is currently seeking to fill an opening for a Sr. Project Engineer to be based in Mt. Vernon, MO.  This position will report to the Engineering Manager.  This position is responsible for designing, testing, and documenting drivetrain and suspension units for the heavy-duty powered vehicle and trailer markets.  Responsibilities include designing of drivetrain and suspension systems and components; use of SolidWorks and other software to design suspension systems; working with a team to develop innovative solutions to meet customer requirements; designing, testing, and supervising projects to completion; ensuring projects meet customer requirements and are completed on time; providing installation and maintenance manual input and review; developing and supervising tests; working with suppliers, manufacturing, and customers to assure designs meet reliability, manufacturability, performance, and cost constraints.  May also supervise field installations of prototype/ beta/ first article suspension units, oversee testing at customer sites and provide customer support as needed.

Responsible for assisting with new product installations and other duties as assigned by the manager.  Must adhere to Reyco Granning policies and work rules. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, good computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, PDF Editor, SolidWorks, PDM, and MRP Systems; be familiar with DFMEA, DVP, and APQP Processes.  Must have knowledge/ familiarity of vehicle systems and overall functionality; the ability to work on multiple projects at one time; ability to work efficiently in a team setting; design for manufacturability.  Must possess attention to detail, and quality of work; excellent problem-solving skills, along with strong leadership skills. Experience requirements include five-plus years of experience in the design of vehicle suspension systems; experience in Finite Element Analysis, topology optimization, casting design, and sheet metal design.  3D modeling experience with SolidWorks experience preferred.

Manufacturing Engineer

Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its Mt. Vernon production facility.  This position is responsible for providing Technical & Engineering support for all Reyco Granning manufacturing value streams. This position drives improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost by utilizing continuous improvement, project management, problem-solving, and working with internal and external resources.

This position requires a BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Management, Mechanical Engineering or similar technical degrees will be considered.  Necessary experience includes AutoCAD SolidWorks or equivalent applications, demonstrated Lean/CI hands-on experiences, demonstrated Six Sigma / DMAIC problem-solving experiences, demonstrated project/program management experiences.  Must be a technical problem solver who enjoys working with or training others; must possess mechanical and machining expertise with a demonstrated history of success.  Must have CNC programming experience, prototype, and new program support experience. Physical demands include the ability to stand/walk in excess of 8 hours per day and the ability to work in plant temperatures of 65 – 105 degrees.
