  • Sr. Project Engineer Mt. Vernon, MO

    Reyco Granning is currently seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to be based in Mt. Vernon.  This position is responsible for designing, testing and documenting suspensions for medium and heavy duty powered vehicles. This position will use SolidWorks 3D CAD, Ansys FEA and Altair Simulation for the design of product and is responsible for the set up and supervision of testing.  This position will work with suppliers, the manufacturing team, sales team and customers to ensure the design meets functional, reliability, manufacturability and cost requirements.  This person must be able to function in a program team, matrix managed environment and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.  May also be responsible for field installations of prototypes and oversee testing at customer sites, providing customer support as necessary.

    This position requires a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree, five to ten years’ experience in design of vehicle suspension systems, 3Dmodeling, structural analysis, APQP processes, and Finite Element Analysis.

    Physical Demands include hands-on work involved with testing and installations, and travel potential of 10%.

  • Manufacturing Engineer (Revised) Mt. Vernon, MO

    Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its Mt. Vernon production facility. This position is responsible for providing Technical & Engineering support for all Reyco Granning manufacturing value streams. This position drives improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost by utilizing continuous improvement, project management, and problem solving and working with internal and external resources.

    This position requires a BS degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Management, Mechanical Engineering or similar technical degrees will be considered. Necessary experience includes AutoCAD SolidWorks or equivalent applications, demonstrated Lean/CI hands-on experiences, demonstrated Six Sigma / DMAIC problem solving experiences, demonstrated project/program management experiences, must be a technical problem solver who enjoys working with or training others, mechanical and machining expertise with demonstrated history of success, and must have CNC programming, prototype and new program support experience.

  • Senior Quality Engineer Mt. Vernon, MO

    Reyco Granning, LLC has an opening for a Sr. Quality Engineer in its Mt. Vernon, Missouri production facility.  This position will report to the VP of Manufacturing.

    The Sr. Quality Engineer will plan and direct activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products.  Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.  Devise sampling procedures and design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.  Establish programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment.  Develop and implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devise methods to assess cost and solve root cause.  Supervise and direct workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.  Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality assurance activities. Provide leadership in transforming quality management system across Reyco Granning.

    This position requires a BS degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.  Experience requirements include ISO 9000 / PPAP requirements, prior experience with supplier quality, in process improvement, error proofing, DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, process flow diagrams, and lean manufacturing.  Must have a strong statistical background.  Strong Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement, strong ISO and/or other quality management systems and Six Sigma Black belt are preferred.

    Physical demands include the ability to stand / walk in excess of eight (8) hours per day, to work in plant temperatures ranging from 65 – 105 degrees, and lifting up to 45 pounds infrequently.

  • Manufacturing Supervisor (1st Shift) Mt. Vernon, MO

    Reyco Granning, LLC has an opening for a 1st shift Manufacturing Supervisor.  This position reports to the Plant Production Superintendent and provides overall supervision of direct and indirect employees within the assigned production area. The supervisor manages the department to accomplish effective setup, run and completion of quality products, the completion of required documentation, preventive maintenance of equipment and housekeeping in their area.  This position makes decisions based on the priority of safety first, quality second, delivery third and continuous improvement fourth.

    This position requires the drive to provide a safe working environment for employees, a strong bias for quality, a commitment to customer satisfaction, strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and excellent problem solving skills.  The successful applicant will have a good understanding of P&L financials and adaptability to change associated with LEAN efforts.  A minimum of five years manufacturing experience and a high school diploma is required.  A college degree is preferred.

    This position requires a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree, five to ten years’ experience in product design of vehicular suspensions or similar with experience in 3D modeling, structural analysis, APQP processes and Finite Element Analysis.  This position will use SolidWorks/SolidWorks Simulation for the design of product and will be responsible for the set up and supervision of testing, work with suppliers, the manufacturing team, and customers.  May also be responsible for field installations or prototypes and providing customer support as necessary.

    Must possess excellent problem solving skills, good written and verbal communication skills, attention to details, good computer skills (Fourth Shift, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word, SolidWorks  or equivalent systems), be versed in DFMEA, DVP and 8D tools.  Must also be able to work on multiple projects at one time.

  • Staffing Specialist Mt. Vernon, MO

    Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking a Staffing Specialist. This position will be responsible for managing the hiring needs of the organization by working closely with hiring managers to meet departmental and organizational needs.  This person will be responsible for all Affirmative Action efforts and related regulatory requirements; and provide orientation to new staff members in preparing them for their assignments.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with people, and will be required to maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism.  This position will report to the Human Resource Manager.

  • Customer Service Specialist Mt. Vernon, MO

    Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist for its Mt. Vernon production facility.  This position will report to the Program Manager of Customer Experience.

    This position will be responsible for providing support to direct and indirect customers with suspension and parts solutions, including:  identifying appropriate product(s) to fit customer needs; provide product quotes and availability; receive, process and confirm orders; identify suppliers as alternatives for products and service parts when appropriate;  process RMAs; and issue debit and credit memos as necessary.  Support outside sales teams with efforts towards achieving company sales and growth targets.  Serve as customer advocates and internal problem solvers on customers’ behalf. Actively support the President’s Blue Chip Initiatives to achieve the Reyco Granning corporate mission.

    This position requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related area, or equivalent work experience; two (2) years or more experience within a team and/or solution selling environment; demonstrated interpersonal and team social skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MRP systems with ERP and CRM experience preferred.

  • Manufacturing Engineering Technician Mt. Vernon, MO

    Reyco Granning, LLC is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician. This position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering group.

    This position will be responsible for supporting the machining area of the plant and be focused on CNC machining centers.  Will utilize Kaizen and DMAIC methodologies to identify and eliminate waste and variation from all machining processes.  Will execute program and tooling changes to remove waste and variation to achieve improved safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

    While not required, a degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering technologies is a plus. Must be able to read blue prints, use measurement tools for part validation, ability to assist in tool/cutter selection and evaluation, understand and use Lean manufacturing principle applications, and program with Mazatrol CNC.  Experience requirements include demonstrated ability to set up, program and run a machining center, demonstrated ability to machine parts on manual machines and demonstrated ability to set speeds and feeds for machining.

  • Buyer/Planner Mt. Vernon, MO

    Reyco Granning LLC has an opening for a Buyer/Planner.  This position is primarily responsible for procurement of raw materials and purchased parts as well as maintaining pricing for product, expediting and scheduling and provide assistance as needed to maintain production flow.  This position will report to the Purchasing Manager.

    This position requires a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in production buys and expediting; A minimum of one (1) year experience in a MRP/ERP system such as SAP, Great Plains, JD Edwards, or Oracle.  MS Office software and solid negotiation skills are also required.  A BS degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management or related is preferred.  Also preferred is an APICS certification in CPIM or CPP.

  • Junior Accountant Mt. Vernon, MO

    Reyco Granning LLC has an opening for a Junior Accountant.  This position is responsible for accounts receivable process from invoice creation through cash receipt and application.  Researches customer account issues, pursuing to resolution.  Serves as customer contact for initial collection efforts.  Communicates customer credit or collection issues to appropriate Sales or Customer Service representatives.  Utilizes Accounts Receivable Trial Balance (ARTB) or develops process improvements to identify means for continuous reduction of Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

    Duties include processing customer invoices, reviewing and processing credit/debit memos, file accounts receivable documents, lead collection efforts, assist in matching packing slips and purchase orders with AP invoices as needed, mail AP checks, file AP documents, maintain taxable purchases spreadsheet, pull and file records as needed by auditors, Assist VP of Finance, Senior Accountant, Cost Accountant and AP Clerk as needed and miscellaneous duties as assigned.

    This position requires a high school diploma or GED with additional college work being desired.  Must have worked in an accounting environment for a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years.

  • Program Launch Manager Mt. Vernon, MO

    Reyco Granning is currently seeking to fill an opening for a Program Launch Manager based in Mt. Vernon.  This position reports to the V.P. of Engineering and will be responsible for product development program management across all business functions, ensuring that all deliverables are met.

    This position requires:

    A BS degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree.

    At least ten (10) years of experience in product design, and validation and at least three (3) years of experience in program launch management, preferably within the heavy automotive engineering field.

    A strong understanding of CAD (preferably SolidWorks), and FEA, competency in MRP and PDM systems, as well as GD&T and APQP.

    Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

    Knowledge of heavy duty truck, trailer and specialty vehicle suspension systems would be a definite advantage.

  • National Accounts Manager - Bus Lafayette, IN; Mt. Vernon, MO

    Reyco Granning is currently seeking to fill an opening for a National Accounts Manager.  This position will report to the Director of Powered Vehicles, and will be responsible for selling Reyco Granning Power Vehicle products and solutions to assigned accounts consistent with the PV sales plan and GM goals.  Primary focus will be on bus OEM’s.  Will establish and maintain relationships with OEMs, aftermarket and key distributors in the transit bus market.  Uses industry knowledge to provide business solutions.  Provides an informed, effective link to other Reyco Granning departments in order to communicate feedback and future customer requirements.

    This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field; at least ten (10) years of field sales experience in the transportation industry and seven (7) years of focus in the transit bus market.  Must have a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with customer top level management and partner with them to understand their business challenges.  Must also have demonstrated strategic thinking skills, leadership, sales and project management abilities and the ability to conceptualize solutions that will enhance the customers’ business.

    Physical demands involve extensive overnight travel.

     

Plant

  • Welder (2nd Shift) Mt. Vernon, MO

    The position performs welding maintenance, repair, fabrication and construction on heavy duty suspensions. The position not only performs manual welding, but also robotic weld duties. Successful candidate must be able to use basic inspection equipment such as calipers, mics and other types of gauges, as well as perform first, last and in-process inspections. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

    The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and candidates must also have attended a Vo-Tech or post graduate welding school, or have attained like experience as a welder with a minimum of one year experience welding. Candidate must demonstrate good basic weld skills and pass a weld test consisting of straight lines, circles, double pass, triple pass and achieve good weld penetration. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in extreme temperatures and to stand for long periods of time. Weld certification is required, and at least one year of experience is preferred. Must have excellent work history and provide work references.

    Starting wage: $14.60 + .20 shift differential

  • Shipping (1st Shift and 2nd Shift) Mt. Vernon, MO

    This position requires the ability to load/unload trucks, load/unload paint line, and possible painting, ability to read blueprints, understand inventory control, assemble, pick, pack, palletize, label and ship customer orders and pick parts from inventory and deliver to appropriate department as needed. Work involves assembling parts, must be able to use basic inspection equipment such as calipers, mics, torque wrenches and different types of gauges, perform first, last and in-process inspections. Ability to select correct part & quantity of parts per customer order using bar code gun, pack items in correct size box, load boxed parts on pallet, (one order per pallet), stretch wrap, ticket and ship customer orders based on customer needs and meet the production standard.

    This position requires high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to follow written and verbal directions. Have or obtain a fork truck license. Must have excellent work history and provide work references. Experience is preferred.
